Africa Cup of Nations 2019: Egypt on the top of Group A

Egypt, that hosts this year’s tournament, ended on the top of Group A, after defeating Uganda by 2-0 at Cairo International Stadium, on June 30. Mohamed Salah and skipper Ahmed Elmohamady scored during the last ten minutes of the first half, giving Egypt the qualification.

Both teams looked satisfied by the result of that game. Now, Egypt will play with one of the qualified third teams (groups C, D or E) in the next round.

مصر التي تستضيف بطولة هذا العام، انتهت في صدارة المجموعة الأولى، بعد تغلبها على أوغندا 2-0 والتى أقيمت على ملعب القاهرة الدولي، في 30 يونيو. وسجل محمد صلاح وقائد الفريق أحمد المحمادي خلال الدقائق العشر الأخيرة من الشوط الأول، مما أنتهى بمصر للتأهل.

بدا كلا الفريقين راضين بنتيجة تلك اللعبة. الآن ، ستلعب مصر مع أحد الفرق الثالثة المؤهلة (المجموعات أ, ب و ج) فى الجولة التالية.
