Roger Federer is happy with all he’s achieved, but at the same time he says he’s being realistic. He believes that either Rafael Nadal or Novak Djokovic will beat his record of 20 Grand Slams.
“Well of course I’d like to keep holding all my records, but that’s not realistic.
Records will always break. I hope to keep my Grand Slam record until 2020, but even playing at this level at my age is very good”, stated Federer.
At the moment, Nadal is the player threatening Federer’s record the most, as he won his 19th Slam in US Open. Nadal came this close to Federer for the first time and if he wins 2 Grand Slams in 2020, as he did this year, he might beat Federer’s record.
