As of today, Stefanos Tsitsipas is officially at No. 11 of the world rankings, not to mention that he has gained the best position he ever had.
Stefanos Tsitsipas won 250 points at Open 13 tournament in Marseille, 160 of which were “clean”. He reached 2.965 score and he passed Karen Khachanov, who had a loss of 250 points, since he was last year’s champion in Marseille and he decided not to compete in this year’s tournament.
Stefanos is now at No. 11 of the world rankings and the 22-year-old Russian at No. 12, having 2.675 points, score which is 290 points lower that the one of the 20-year-old Greek tennis player.
Next goal for Stefanos is of course entering Top 10, one of his main goals for 2019.
After 2 months at season, he is close to that goal, since he is 130 points back from Marin Cilic who is at No. 10 and 305 points back from John Isner, who might be at No. 9 but in almost a month he will have το “defend” 1.000 points in Miami, where, last year, he won the most important title of his career.
