اعتبارا من اليوم، أصبح ستيفانوس تسيتسيباس رسميا في المرتبة 11 من التصنيف العالمي، ناهيك عن أنه حصل على أفضل مركز لديه على الإطلاق.
حصل ستيفانوس تسيتيسيباس على 250 نقطة في بطولة Open 13 في مرسيليا، 160 منها كانت “نظيفة”. وصل إلى 2.965 وتخطى كارين خاشانوف ، الذي خسر 250 نقطة، منذ أن كان بطلا العام الماضي في مرسيليا وقرر عدم التنافس في بطولة هذا العام.
ويحتل ستيفانوس الآن المركز رقم 11 من التصنيف العالمي والروسى البالغ من العمر 22 عاما في المركز 12 برصيد 2.675 نقطة، وهو أقل بـ90 نقطة من لاعب التنس اليوناني البالغ من العمر 20 عاما.
الهدف التالي ل ستيفانوس هو بالطبع الدخول إلى Top 10 ، أحد أهدافه الرئيسية لعام 2019.
بعد شهرين في الموسم، يقترب من هذا الهدف، حيث إنه خلفه 130 نقطة من مارين سيليك الذي يحتل المركز 10 و 305 نقطة من جون إيسنر، الذي قد يكون في المركز التاسع ولكن في غضون شهر تقريبا يجب ان “يدافع” عن 1.000 نقطة في ميامي، حيث فاز العام الماضي بأهم لقب في مسيرته.
