Toronto Raptors beat Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals and won their first-ever NBA championship.
Raptors star Danny Green, who played a key role in Toronto’s playoff run, claims that luck and timing played a huge factor in their title win.
”A lot of things had to happen, and a good amount of it was luck,” said Green.
We got lucky with a lot of things, but the timing of it, getting the pieces we got even at the deadline like Marc Gasol, staying healthy and other teams not being healthy.”
As a reminder, on July 6 Green signed a two-year contract with Los Angeles Lakers.
